Asana means the physical yoga shapes that stretch and strengthen your body; it is one element of the Indian mind-body-spirit system of Yoga. Private sessions are tailored to you. From restorative yin to chair yoga to sweaty vinyasa, I develop sequencing that addresses your needs, leaving space to co-create intuitively. Regardless of style or intensity, sessions are informed by traditional, therapeutic postures linked with breath (pranayama) in an energetic alignment that helps balance your nervous system and calm your mind.

strength training
about:
Pick up heavy things, put them back down, feel like the badass you are. I leave diet culture at the door and approach fitness through education, empowerment, and hopefully, fun. I use the principles of progressive overload to help you build consistently over time and integrate your training into your life long term. Beyond that, we can target any specific training goals you have around mobility, endurance, power, balance, or cardio, or we can work on general strength training. In addition to building muscle, strength training can positively influence heart health, bone density, joint structure, postural imbalances, and more, staving off injury and helping you do what you do (better) - all while giving you your fix of happy brain chemicals.
